2. Both sides bow to each other.

3. a. (D) bows and opens the kate, and performs the same through the Shoken over shoken closed gate position.

b. (A) circles to the front of (D), goes to a left sanchin, executes a right punch with a step, and a left punch.(no step shown in Kyuhan)

c. (D). slides back, check block right, and wauke, slides (if needed) check block left and wauke control.

d. (A) may slide back to a left fighting stance.

e. (D) slide steps in and blocks (A's) left hand aside,

f. (D) execute right shoken to heart or solar plexus.

4. a. (D) turns to the rear and executes Kata through the left block, right Nukite.

b. (A) circles to the rear, his back facing 90 degree rear he faces (D )forward direction, to stand in a left sanchin)

c. (A) steps in and execute a right hammer fist,

d. (D) executes a left double hand and control block, then steps in and executes a right vertical elbow strike.

e. (A) steps back out and goes to "Kamae" in a left Sanchin.

f. (A) steps in and punches right,

g. (D) draws back from leaning stance to a right sanchin, blocks to the right, then counters with a left "shotei" (palm heel or bushkin)

h. (A) punches left,

i. (D) blocks to the left, right Nukite.
